I have always been interested in ways of understanding the world around us. I started practising Tai Ji seriously in 2000, and learning Chinese medicine was a logical next step.
Chinese medicine is an incredible system, which can provide a means to understand not only yourself, your body and mind, but also the wider world. This understanding can transform conditions of pain and distress. I am passionate about education and bringing the knowledge and practice of the Chinese system to Sheffield.
I volunteer doing tui na massage at St. Luke's hospice and hope that I am able to give something of my skills to those I treat there.
I have a degree in Acupuncture, and am a member of the British Acupuncture Council. My degree entailed studying both Chinese and Western medicine. I still study different aspects of medicine to further my understanding.
I still practice tai ji and am a Wu family Tai Ji disciple. I am also an enthusiastic Buddhist, and help to run a Buddhist meditation group in my practice room.
